We are a specialist Mathematics Consultancy based in Faringdon Oxfordshire. We bring excellence in the teaching of Mathematics. Confidence is paramount in learning and excelling in mathematics.

We have been based in Faringdon serving local schools and families for 14 years.

Dr Audrey Curnock - Qualified to meet your educational needs


Dr Audrey Curnock, the founder of Education Unlimited, has over 35 years of  Mathematical educational experience. She started out as a Mathematician, gaining a PhD in Pure Mathematics (Functional Analysis), from the University of London, Goldsmiths' College. After 25 years as an academic, lecturing in London, including London South Bank University, and Head of Mathematics and the Sciences at the American University of Rome, she took on the role of Director of Undergraduate Studies in Mathematics at The University of Oxford.
Audrey also tutored at Keble and Wadham Colleges and carried out admissions work at Exeter and The Queen's College, Oxford before setting up her successful Mathematics  consultancy.


Audrey has been nominated and won several educational  awards including in a National Award for Best Mathematics Tutor of the Year. She also holds two charter marks from the  National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics, one of which is the PD Lead.

Brief outline of CV

2011 – current day Founder of Education Unlimited

2006-2011 Director of Undergraduate Studies, Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. I also held various College Appointments including at Wadham College and Keble College.

2003 – 2006  Area Chair of Math & Science Department, and Associate Professor of Mathematics, The American University of Rome.  Also Director of Outcomes Assessment (QA).  Assistant Provost for a Semester in 2005 as VC was unwell.

1989 – 2004 Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, Statistics & Operational Research, London South Bank University. (Lecturer 1989 - 1991). On sabbatical In Rome  Sept 2002 – Jan 2004.

Award won for Induction Programme for the School, SCISM, 1993. I wrote the Student Guide to the School for a number of years.

1985 – 1989 p/t posts as Graduate Teaching Assistant posts  at Goldsmith's College, University of London, Open University, South Bank Polytechnic and MPW tutorial College London.
